A local grid with assumed co-ordinates using Total Station readings created by a closed traverse to better than 1/20,000, oriented to grid north. Scale factor is NOT applied. Fly stations defined by multiple observations and averaged out.
OS Grid Co-Ordinates established as above and oriented to the Ordinance Survey by Geographical means to best fit OS Grid Co-Ordinates only. Scale factor is NOT applied.
Best Fit Ordinance Survey National Grid (OSGB36) established and processed using.
Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers at one survey station oriented to grid north via GPS observation on one other survey station and adjusted onto plan grid. Scale factor is NOT applied.
